Passengers carried by SIA and Scoot rose 8.1% y-o-y. However, PLF declined by 1.4ppts to 86.6%, as pax traffic growth of 6.4% lagged capacity expansion of 8.2%. Pax yields dropped 5.5% to 10.3 cents/pkm, pressured by intensified competition from industry-wide capacity increases.
We expect FY26e earnings to be supported by declining jet fuel prices and a depreciating US$. While yields are expected to continue their downward trajectory, we foresee that they will remain above pre-COVID levels.
