- The future composition of its targeted S$200b FUM would comprise an increased proportion of capital allocation to India (from 7% to 10-15%), Australia, Korea and Japan (collectively from 18% to 25-35%) as well as USA and Europe (collectively from 9% to 10-15%).
- SEA’s contribution is expected to range between 30-40% in 2028 versus 39% currently, as the decline in contribution from Singapore due to its relatively smaller market will be offset by other SEA markets.
- Notably, CapitaLand Investment expects its proportion of FUM in China to decline from 27% to 10- 20% given the challenging market conditions.
- Key themes and strategies targeted include logistics, self-storage, lodging & living, data centres, wellness and private credit.
Growth in FUM to support goal of more than doubling its operating earnings to above S$1b by 2028-2030, with 60-70% coming from high quality fee business
