Technical Analysis of FTSE ST REIT Index (FSTAS8670) FTSE ST Real Estate Investment Trusts (FTSE ST REIT Index) increased from 826.65 to 859.68 (+3.99%) compared to last month update. Currently the Singapore REIT index is still trading with a range between 816 and 874. As for now, Short term direction: Sideway. Immediate Support at 816, followed by 775. 1. Write off remaining estimated residual value for Eagle Hospitality Trust ("EHT")- S$20KI have done a full write off of S$20K of my remaining investment in EHT. Latest update from DBS Trustee is selling off of most of the hotel properties (15 out of 18 properties) via a "stalking horse" bid. The stalking horse bid is a technique use to reserve a minimum floor price during upcoming auction.  The opening bid is way below even the recent market valuation and stapled securities owners will not get anything back after paying off bankers and creditors at such a low price. Good news is that the 3 remaining hotels do not need to be sold off immediately under duress pricing as apparently, they can still be operational and not under chapter 11. Clearly, the only viable option was to appo

Prime US REIT IPO ("PREIT") debuted on SGX on 19 July 2019 at a price of USD0.88 per unit. Currently the Singapore REIT index has started an uptrend after broke the resistance of about 852 and 874. As for now, Short term direction: Up trend. Singapore REIT Fundamental Analysis Comparison Table Sep 21 – 2020
Technical Analysis of FTSE ST REIT Index (FSTAS8670) TSE ST Real Estate Investment Trusts (FTSE ST REIT Index) increased slightly from 835.40 to 854.51 (+2.28%) compared to last month update. REIT Index has rebounded c45% as of Sep 21 from the bottom on Mar 23, 2020. Currently the REIT index is currently trading on sideway consolidation, sandwiched between a very tight range between 817 support and 854 resistance. There is a Bollinger Band Squeeze with very tight range and low volatility on FTSE ST REIT Index. The index can start big move in either direction. Portfolio Review - My REIT performance
So the long awaited black swan, in the form of the invisible coronavirus, has finally arrives... The event this year is unprecedented.  How could we ever imagine such things as cross-border travel and businesses would come to almost a complete halt? I have been through the Lehman brothers' crash, although my portfolio was very much smaller at that time.  My REIT counters accounted for almost half of my portfolio this time, and it is time to do a review on their performace so far.1. Industrial Reits Grade A: Keppel DC Reit, Ascendas Reit, Frasers L&C Tr.- Strong performance, still above my average price.Grade B: Aims APAC Reit. - In green territory, still above my cost price (with dividends collected).Grade C: Cromwell Reit, ARA LOGOS Log Tr.- In red territory, even
